Samsung NX cameras

Photographers who have the NX10 or NX5 can now look forward to optics from Korean lens manufacturer Samyang (not to be confused or associated with Samsung).
On the lens-maker's website, it states that 14mm f/2.8, 8mm f/3.5 fisheye and 85mm f/1.4 glasses are in its pipeline. The same lenses will be made available to Canon, Nikon, Sony Alpha, Pentax and Four Thirds mount.
Take note, though, that Samyang's lenses are manual, meaning there is no autofocus and you have to adjust the aperture via the lens instead of controlling it from the camera. However, as these optics should be pretty affordable, users will be hard-pressed not to give them a second look. No word on pricing and availability at press time, but we'll update this when we get more information.
